A touch of nostalgia from Guild Wars GvG: this page showcases the top leaderboard positions from past seasons. From April 2005, which marked the end of the beta, through the qualification periods for the two major World Championships, and up to the Winterfest Tournament—which was the last ladder requiring to be in the first places at the end of the season to have a chance to participate in an ArenaNet-organized tournament.

Since January 1, 2007, the ladder has been reset multiple times, but it no longer holds the same importance it once did.
