• Name: Charles Connaughton
  Location: California, USA
  Age: 25
  Occupation: Unknown. I work as a webmaster for an internet startup, but that answers the question as much as 'waiter' would for a man in West Hollywood who's still looking for a break. The real answer is that the last couple of years have been chaotic, and I'm still waiting to find my place before I can answer that question with any confidence.

  The truth is that each individual needs to understand the different choices in the game, where his own strengths lie, and play that which gives him the best chance to win. My own strengths lie on offense, and with characters that reward careful planning more than fast reactions and APM. However the strongest professions are Warriors and Mesmers, which are 'twitch' professions. I play an Elementalist or Necromancer 'support' character when they are called for, or I fill in wherever needed. What is my favorite profession and skill? That would be the Gale Axe Warrior, because it is the most powerful character in the game.
  Favorite Sport: I enjoy individual sports the most, but only enjoy any sort of sport if I'm doing it with other people. Quietly practicing on my own is tedious. With friends I most often play basketball or ultimate frisbee. I enjoy the strategy of spectator sports but do not enjoy watching them myself.
  Favorite Hero/Villain: Fictional characters were fun to idolize when I was in grade school, but real world heroes and villains are much more interesting. They are also the same people - those who stand up for what they believe to be right despite widespread disagreement. Whether they are a hero or a villain is entirely subjective. I feel that individuals who are both celebrated and reviled simultaneously are, at the very least, the most interesting people in the world.

  Guild Wars was the first and only MMO I've ever played. After my first experience with the pvp aspect of the game in the World Preview Event I couldn't stop playing. My in game name Hello Apollo is based off of the band Coheed and Cambria (for those who haven't guessed yet).
